Shona |
Shona is a member of the family of Bantu languages. It is widely spoken in Zimbabwe and Zambia. Shona is primarily a written language. Urban populations tend to speak school or standard Shona whereas English is used with Europeans, and to Africans who don't understand nearby languages.
