Portuguese

Portuguese is a Romance language spoken by about 190 million people mainly in Brazil and Portugal. The language is also used in other parts of the world such as Angola, Congo, Mozmbique, Paraguay, etc. Portuguese is a descendent of Vulgar Latin, which was brought to the Iberian Peninsula by Roman soldiers, settlers and merchants in 218 BC.
