Luganda |
Luganda is a language spoken in Uganda by over three million people. It belongs to the Bantu branch of the Niger-Congo language family. In terms of typology it has a subject-verb-object word order and nominative-accusative morphosyntactic alignment. Another notable feature of Luganda is its geminate consonants and distinctions between long and short vowels.
