Latvian

Latvian is a member of the Eastern Baltic group of the Indo-European language family. It is the closest relative of the Lithuanian language. However, while related, the Latvian and Lithuanian vocabularies vary greatly from each other and ultimately the two languages are not mutually intelligible.
