Portuguese-Brazilian

Brazilian Portuguese is a group of dialects of Portuguese used by 184 million people in Brazil and by a couple of million Brazilian emigrants in other parts of the world, mainly in the United States, United Kingdom, Portugal, Canada, Japan, and Paraguay. The differences between European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese are comparable to those between British and American English. Nevertheless, many differences in spelling, lexicon, and grammar can be identified.
